caramel candies or caramel sauce

egg, beaten

Instructions
Melt butter in a small pan. Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook until tender.
Mix cornstarch with water and stir into apples to thicken. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
Place apple filling and a small amount of caramel in the center of each wonton wrapper.
Brush edges with water, fold, and seal tightly.
Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Spray wontons lightly with oil and brush with egg wash.
Air fry for 6–8 minutes until golden and crisp, flipping halfway if needed.
Notes
Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
