Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1/2 cup caramel candies or caramel sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a small pan. Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook until tender.
  • Mix cornstarch with water and stir into apples to thicken. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  • Place apple filling and a small amount of caramel in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  • Brush edges with water, fold, and seal tightly.
  • Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Spray wontons lightly with oil and brush with egg wash.
  • Air fry for 6–8 minutes until golden and crisp, flipping halfway if needed.
