

Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken (4–5 lbs)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme (or Italian seasoning)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 onion, quartered
- 3–4 garlic cloves, smashed
- 1 lemon, halved
Instructions:
- Prep the chicken: Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Rub all over with olive oil or butter.
- Season: In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Rub seasoning all over the chicken, inside and out.
- Stuff: Place onion, garlic, and lemon halves inside the cavity for extra flavor.
- Cook in slow cooker: Place chicken breast-side up in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Optional crispy skin: For golden skin, transfer the cooked chicken to a baking sheet and broil for 4–5 minutes.
- Rest & serve: Let the chicken rest 10 minutes before carving.
