- Optional: brown sugar, shredded cheddar, chopped chives, jalapeños, ranch or BBQ for dipping
👩🍳 Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and place a wire rack on top (for even crisping).
- Wrap each tater tot with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Optional: Roll in a little brown sugar for sweet-savory flavor or add a pinch of chili powder for some heat.
- Place wrapped tots on the wire rack, bacon seam-side down.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Remove toothpicks if desired.
- Serve with ranch, BBQ sauce, or spicy mayo for dipping.
💡 Tips & Variations:
- Sprinkle with shredded cheddar and chopped chives after baking for loaded flavor
- Add a thin slice of jalapeño under the bacon for a spicy twist 🌶️
- Great make-ahead appetizer — prep them in advance and refrigerate until ready to bake!
