

Ingredients:
- 1 lb elbow macaroni
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups whole milk (warm)
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp Creole seasoning (optional, but recommended!)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan (for topping)
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (optional for extra crunch)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- Cook the macaroni until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to make a roux.
- Slowly whisk in the warm milk and stir until thickened and smooth.
- Lower the heat and stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and Monterey Jack cheeses until melted.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, Creole seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Fold in the cooked macaroni until well coated with the cheesy sauce.
- Pour into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top with Parmesan and breadcrumbs (if using) for that irresistible crust.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until bubbling and golden on top.
