- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
Instructions:
- Cook sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess grease.
- Mix filling: Stir in cream cheese until melted and fully combined with sausage. Remove from heat.
- Assemble casserole:
- Roll out one can of crescent roll dough and press into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread sausage-cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- Top with the second can of crescent roll dough, pinching seams to seal.
- Bake: Place in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Cool slightly & serve: Slice into squares and enjoy warm!
