

Ingredients:
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- Optional: ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional: chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions:
- Cook the sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- Mix the filling: Stir in cream cheese (and cheddar, if using) until melted and combined with the sausage. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Prepare the dough: Roll out crescent rolls and separate into triangles.
- Fill & roll: Place about 1–2 tablespoons of sausage mixture on the wide end of each triangle, then roll up toward the tip.
- Bake: Place rolls on a greased baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm: Sprinkle with green onions if desired and enjoy!
