For the Cake:
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box: eggs, oil, water)
- 1 small box (3.4 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional, for extra richness)
For the Frosting:

- ½ cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ cups sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.

- Frost the cake: Spread the warm frosting evenly over the cooled cake.
- Set & serve: Allow frosting to set before slicing into squares.
